The Surfer Dude

Surfer Dude--Day 9- Today is going to be fun. I get to go to a timeshare place which is a bunch of people trying to sell you stuff but it also means free food. Then I went surfing. It is also very hard and tiring. But at the end, I finally rode a wave and we are going to do it again.

Congrats on riding the waves Jackson! It looked like a lot of fun and makes me wish I could go swim in the ocean right now. You must be having a great time; the pictures are awesome! Hopefully some day I will get to go to Hawaii and experience some of the cool things you are doing but until then I get to see some of the amazing things the islands have to offer. Thanks for blogging all of your adventures and sharing them with us in frigid NH!

Thanks for sharing your blog, Jackson. I think getting pounded by the Manta Ray sounds like the wildest thing but galloping on horseback and surfing must have been great too. What a fine way to spend February. We have no place left to put our snow here. Your yard is buried! Hugs for little bro Sam and keep having fun and learning a bunch. Sheila & Leighton

Looks like fun! Mr. Tursi is probably impressed, you will have to talk surfing with him when you return! Thanks for sharing, I look forward to more adventures.

Hi Jackson!

Sorry I haven't commented in a few days, I think it must have been a busy week for me, too. Your week sounds like a lot more fun than mine, though.

I have just spent a few minutes catching up on your adventures and I am ready for a rest. Wow, you are doing so many things! The pictures from the hike were amazing. I always like knowing how the valleys you hike in are formed; when I was in Newfoundland I saw valleys that were formed by glaciers, so it was interesting to read that this one was formed by rivers (makes sense in Hawaii that there wasn't a lot of ice around, right?)

We had another snow storm last night, so it was also great to see you surfing. I miss the feel of warm sun on my face.

Keep having fun and writing all about it.

Hey Jackson! Its me PJ. Nice job riding the surfboards. I just wish my family could take a month long vacation in Hawaii too... Well anyway everything here in Barrington is okay. Right now we're having Winter Recess, which means no school for a week! I hope you'll bring back cool souvineirs. We'll be waiting!
